SOMETIMES
Sometimes, my dreams are so full of darkness,
that when I wake up, I fear I might be blind.
Sometimes, my dreams are so full of snow and cold,
that I think I'm back in that cave.
Sometimes, my dreams are so full of happiness,
I wish to never wake up again.
Sometimes, my dreams are so full of blood,
I wish I could die.
Sometimes, in my dreams I can see the Sun,
bright and hot-tempered, indifferent but caring.
Sometimes, in my dreams I can see the Water,
always kind and absent-minded, peaceful but not easy to control.
Sometimes, in my dreams I can see the Wind,
playful and light, rough but brotherly.
Sometimes, in my dreams I can see the Earth,
joyful and vengeful, naïve but vicious.
Sometimes, I wonder who these people are...
I wonder who they were...
I think that maybe,
I knew them 'coz they looked familiar.
But when I see them,
it feels like something's off...
Sometimes, I wonder who they were, but then I remember
that I already have these people here beside me.
Sometimes, when I wake up
a thought pops in a corner of my mind...
The Earth, the Sun, the Water and the Wind
are standing here, side by side, one more time.
The bound that ties us together,
will exist through death.
Sometimes, I think of my past...
but then I forget, 'coz all I want is here, with me.
