Gohan era appena ritornato a casa era 00:30, si era fatto tardi perchè aveva tenuto una conferenza sulle nuove fonti di energia rinnovabbili,
era distrutto giornalisti e fan l'avevano trattenuto per un bel po di tempo per interviste e autografi.Questa volta sapeva benissimo che Videl si sarebbe infuriata con lui,era molto tempo che non passavano un po di tempo " soli ", l' arrivo della piccola aveva tramutato le loro vite.

Gohan entrò in casa silenziosamente ma Pan se ne accorse, normalmente era una Sayan e loro hanno un udito e olfatto superiore a quello di una persona normale, non sapeva se svegliare Videl o no,così cautamente si avvicinò alla stanzette della loro pargoletta, Pan si accorse della presenza del padre e pianse ancora più forte, sperava tanto che il suo papino venisse in suo aiuto da quel brutto sogno e fere come il pricncipe azzurro,
portandola fuori dalla foresta oscura e rassicurarla, Gohan era nella sua stanza la prese in braccio e amorevolmente l' avvolse nella sua copertina preferita,
Videl si era svegliate per vedere Pan cosa voleva ma notò che c'era Gohan, così decise di rimanere a vedere come la poteva calmarla d' altro canto non aveva mai tempo per stare con il frutto del loro amore..era intenerita da quella scena,Gohan era sulla sedia a dondolo situata vicino la finestrella con in braccio Pan, iniziò ad accarezzarle le guance paffute così da rassicurarla.

Gohan aveva un'idea vaga che si faceva strada nella sua mente geniale, cantarle una ninna nanna!!
ma quella che aveva scritto lui però quando aveva sedici anni si era promesso che l'avrebbe cantata a sua figlia.
Videl non aveva mai sentito Gohan cantare e anche lei era curiosa , gohan iniziò a cantare la sua Lullaby...

Videl stava piangendo, non pensava che il suo amato Sayan avresse la voce di un'angelo,si avvicinò a Gohan che intanto rideva per il risultato ottenuto infatti la piccola Pan dormiva con un sorriso delineato sul volto, e gli diede un bacio passionale Gohan ricambiava e sperava di non essere rinfacciato tutto le volte ch era ritornato tardi come anche questa volta, si staccò dalle labbra candide di lei e le domandò il perché di quel bacio.
Normalmente a lui non dispiaceva ansi...
ma voleva sapere il perché  intanto aveva posato Pan nella sua culla.
Videl gli spiegò che nessun uomo avrebbe mai avuto la forza e il coraggio di avere una vita come l'aveva vissuta lui,piena di insidie.
Gohan paragonava sempre la vita di ognuno di noi ad una scala di cristallo...

se la scala é di crisallo quella strada non ti faré maturare e testare quanto tu sia in grado di sopportare e superare i tuoi limiti...

la scala invece di legno forse più brutta rispetto a quella di cristallo, con più insidie e inaspettata, salendo ad un pianerottolo forse potrai constatare che la strada che stai intraprendendo é buia e incute terrore..è quella la strada migliore..perché ti plasma,ti mette alla prova,
potrai avere paura del domani...ma non importa,puoi andare piano oppure voloce l'importante e che si arriva alla fine della scala 
lì troverai tre premi che hai guadagnato durante il traggitto
l' onestà
la lealtà
e il coraggio queste qualità faranno di te un uomo vero...

in effetti aveva ragione ,quell' uom dal fier aspetto la vita ci può preservare molte sorprese come al nostro caro Sayan Gohan, ma ogni sfida va affrontata con un sorriso in volto
