37.
Telefonata
Aveva ancora il cellulare all’orecchio.
“C’è bisogno di strillare tanto?”chiese Georg all’altro capo.
“No, scusami. Ho solo avvisato Sara”
“No, stupido”
“Pronto?”
“Ciao
Sara”
“Ciao Georg…Bill è lì con te?”
“No…è
salito in camera…”
“Ah, capisco…beh, allora fa niente…”
“No,
dai. È appena salito. Te lo passo se vuoi”
“No…lascia stare.
vecchietta”
Sara rise.
“Ti ripasso Giulia. Saluta tutti”
“Certo. Ciao”.
La ragazza restituì il cellulare all’amica, poi uscì in balcone.
Prese l’iPod.
“Love's the funeral
of hearts
And an ode for cruelty
When angels cry blood
On flowers of evil in bloom
The funeral of hearts
And a plea for mercy
When love is a gun
Separating me from you
She was the sun shining upon
The tomb of your hopes and dreams so frail
He was the moon painting you
With its glow so vulnerable and pale
Love's the funeral of hearts
And an ode for cruelty
When angels cry blood
On flowers of evil in bloom
The funeral of hearts
And a plea for mercy
When love is a gun
Separating me from you
She was the wind, carrying in
All the troubles and fears you've for years tried to forget
He was the fire, restless and wild
And you were like a moth to that flame
The heretic seal beyond divine
A prayer to a god who's deaf and blind
The last rites for souls on fire
Three little words and a question: why?
Love's the funeral of hearts
And an ode for cruelty
When angels cry blood
On flowers of evil in bloom
The funeral of hearts
And a plea for mercy
When love is a gun
Separating me from you”
“I
Don’t believe in
miracles
I never did
Nothing ever happens here
So sick of it
I-I-I
told you
I-I-I need to
Get - get myself into something new
I’m for something mystical, hysterical,
Dark, intantric, sexual
Am I
gonna live forever
Said am I gonna live forever
Better make it now or never
( ever, ever )
Am I gonna live forever
Said am I gonna live forever
Gotta make it now or never
( forever or never )
I
don’t believe in
fairytales
Too cynical
Everybody stop and stare
I let it go
I-I-I
told you
I-I-I need to
Stick - stick - stick out
Just can’t be like you
Sent
myself to out of
space
A better place
Gotta win the human race
Am I
gonna live forever
Said am I gonna live forever
Better make it now or never
( ever, ever )
Am I gonna live forever
Said am I gonna live forever
Gotta make it now or never
( forever or never )
For
my love
For my love
For my love, it’s forever forever
For
my love
For my love
For my love, it’s forever forever
Am I
gonna live forever
Said am I gonna live forever
Better make it now or never
( ever, ever )
Am I gonna live forever
Said am I gonna live forever
Gotta make it now or never
( forever or never )”
“E questi chi sono?”chiese la ragazza.
“Cinema Bizarre”
“Mai sentiti”
“Adesso sì”.
Risero.
Rispose.
“Pronto?”
“Ciao…”. Aveva una voce tristissima.
“Ciao. Come va?”
“Mmm, potrebbe andare meglio. Scusami se
non ti ho mandato un messaggio
quando siamo arrivati”
“Non ti preoccupare. Tom come sta?”
“Bene, ora sta
dormendo. Anche se dovrò svegliarlo, visto
che andiamo in ospedale”
“Ok, fammi sapere come sta tuo padre…”
“Certo. Ci sentiamo
più tardi. Ti amo”
