Dancing flatlands in the wind,
Burning bright the Sunlight.
Breaking the light, the hawk flies,
Wings and beak and claws.
The sparrow flees that shadow,
Hidden in leaves and flowers.
Away the hawk, the sparrow comes out,
He opens his wings and sing so shy.
The sparrow loves,
Sweetest creature.
He looses love,
He looses life.
Avoided the Hawk,
Killed by his Love.
Love, you’re life and joy,
Why are you the one who burns
This Much,
Why are you, life, the one who kills?
Why are you, joy, the one who destroys
Happiness?
The sad sparrow sings,
He’s got nothing else
If Love runs away
From him, who loves so much.
If he stands his ground of life,
Maybe he could hope
To sing once more
For Her and maybe with Her.
Poor creature,
So sweet and little,
Frail;
But your singing can shatter the Hawk,
And maybe reach Her too.
