bello anche questo di capitolo, ribadisco il fatto che sei molto brava nelle descrizioni.ti sei ispirata a qualche racconto per l'infanzia della maschera? scusa la domanda ma sono di natura molto curiosa
molto interessante la spiegazione di come olivier diventa la maschera di ferro e di come si innamora di Milady, il brutto cattivone vero e proprio è però quel tarchiatello di Manson da quanto ho capito
ora ti confesso una cosa io ci ho messo un sacco di tempo per capire come funziona l'editor ed ora ho il terrore di sbagliare perchè ancora non ho decifrato il meccanismo per correggere eventuali errori pubblicati

Non si riesce a capire cosa provi la maschera verso Aramis: se ne è attratto (credendola un uomo) a dispetto del disprezzo che dice di provare, o se vuole solamente esserle di conforto; il fraintendimento ha incluso anche Athos,che in questa storia sembra avere più giudizio e non avere i soliti ottusi pregiudizi sulle donne; però penso che Aramis dovrebbe rimanere al villaggio, sarebbe più al sicuro, anche se i suoi motivi e la sua rabbia si possono capire; interessante il rapporto che potrebbe svilupparsi tra Oliver e Aramis (se lei gli rivelasse la sua verà identità).

wow quanta suspance! mi è venuta quasi l'ansia tanto pathos c'era. si sente tutta l'urgenza che la situazione richiede.
bel capitolo, veramente bello! la descrizione della scena e' molto chiara e dettaglia!
bella spiegazione anche delle motivazioni che li hanno spinti nei loro intenti..caspita che bella fantasia.

Finalmente sono riuscita a leggerti! E' sempre un piacere trovare un nuovo capitolo di questa tua storia; debbo dire che sono d'accordo con Maschera di Ferro sul re e l'uguaglianza tra tutte le persone al mondo; non è comprensibile come una persona con questi ideali e così combattiva si sia lasciata prendere facilmente; infatti, anche i quattro sono estrerrefatti per questo; la vicinanza di Aramis sta causando qualche confusione ad Oliver, temo che la bella Renée si troverà uno spasimante di troppo una volta scoperto il suo segreto, e questo non le farà piacere; ma potrebbe anche ricambiarlo, forse.

Hola!, aquí estamos otra vez ^_____^, un capitulo muy complicado en todo el sentido de la palabra, la máscara de hierro esta bajo custodia de los mosqueteros, la ironía dos de sus carceleros eran antes sus prisioneros, Aramis debería odiarlo como nunca, después de todo sus hombres atacaron a François, pero ella no le desea ningún mal solo la justicia, Oliver solo piensa en Aramis, lo que paso entre ella y Manson, es extraño que el hombre se haya dejado atrapar tan fácil, Oliver solo piensa en todo lo que les hizo, pero están locos ya tienen a su prisionero, Aramis no puede volver, en cuanto llegue será arrestada, que van a hacer, el camino se volvió incierto para ellos, Porthos , Athos y el prisionero comenzaron a discutir
Portho comenzó a golpearlo, Oliver parecía aterrado en poco tiempo sabría la sentencia, pero Porthos volvió a golpearlo, Aramis se enoja y decide quedarse a su cuidado. Aquí entiendo que Aramis y Oliver están en el mismo caballo, pero ella detrás del hombre, este se pego a ella y sintió extraño en el cuerpo de Aramis, ella trato de apartarse de el, casi al amanecer ellos llegarían a un pueblo, yo creo que puede subir a un naranja para otro capítulo, bueno eso es lo que entendí, buen capitulo, ya el siguiente capítulo?, gracias por compartir ^_____^.

Ohhhh...what a chapter!!! Oliver gets a letter from Milady, and believes every word in it...but she's not a free woman, she's prisoner of the Inquisition in Spain...or have they released her, in exchange for this letter?? Does the Inquisition want to catch Oliver too??
But wait... there still is Pizarro left...the man who wants to revenge himself against the musketeers, but I think also against the Iron Mask...because it was him that told the king this villain was alive and in Holland...all this is very intriguing...LOL...

And then the scene with our four friends...Porthos who goes fetch the clothes for them, dutch clothing so they can pass as merchants...but he brings a dress fr Aramis??? I did understat correct, h brought a dress for her, but she doesn't want to wear it...but for some reason, AThos insists that she stays in her french, male clothing, "there's no time"...what an excuse!!LOL...LOL... And she can't help from bugging him to enquire if it upset him to see her in female clothes, or if he even woukd be jealous if a man came to woo her while wearing a dress... and he says NO to all... I think someone is lying here...he would be jealous if another man wooed Aramis...he he he...but he just won't admit it...

Now, all I can say is: Oliver has chosen to believe the letter of "Mary", goes to the four friends and lets himself be arrested, demanding to be taken to France... But for some reason, the friends find this behaviour strange...
And young Jan Steen...what a lucky helper in the perfect moment...a spy... was this also a coincidence????Or also a planned act by someone in the shadows??

I can't wait for when you come back from vacation, to see how this story develops...because even with the Iron Mask as their prisoner, our friends can't just return to Paris...Rochefort and his men will be waiting for them, and Aramis will be arrested...and handed over to the Inquisitors... and Pizarro is still out there too...

Sono proprio curiosa di sapere cosa sta architettando Milady, ma ci è o ci fa?
Intende sfruttare il povero Maschera di ferro, o ha un piano ben preciso che include anche la sua partecipazione?

Sono anche curiosa di seguire gli sviluppi di questo strano menage tra Athos e Aramis, con lui che si preoccupa dell'abbigliamento di lei, mentre invece lei si preoccupa che lui si preoccupi dei suoi vestiti...
Forse Aramis vorrebbe tornare ad essere donna????

Piccola notizia storica: effettivamente i Paesi Bassi sono sempre stati molto tolleranti, infatti quasi tutti i perseguitati per motivi religiosi si rifugiavano proprio lì.
In realtà non so se usassero concedere qualche forma di amnistia anche per reati politici, però certo è che molte delle menti più intraprendenti e brillanti emigrarono in quelle terre, contribuendo così allo sviluppo tecnologico e sociale, che porterà alla nascita del potente impero coloniale olandese.

Il racconto prosegue benissimo, realistico e accurato anche nei dettagli dei luoghi; la lettera di Milady mi sembra un tranello, Oliver accetta per amore; l'arresto è fin troppo semplice, è strano che i moschettieri non abbiano qualche dubbio in merito; ottima la parte storica, come al solito. P.S. davvero hai passato quel divertente episodio con dei ladri? Sei stata fortunata!

Mi piace molto. La trama che stai ordendo, penso proprio che ci sarà d divertirsi.

AThos e Aramis (ti pare che non li commentavo??? ;P ): che Athos abbia paura di vedersela davanti in abiti femminili perchè non vuole veramente realizzare fino in fondo che lei non è un uomo?
O teme invece di realizzare fino in fondo che è una donna?

Succedono tantissime cose e io continuo ad amare le ambientazioni che traspaiono dal tuo racconto!
Maschera di ferro/Oliver mi fa un pò tenerezza... Faccio fatica in questa storia a vederlo come la terribile e integerrima maschera di ferro che ha terrorizzato Parigi, lo vedo invece come un uomo innamorato, schiavo dell'amore per una donna che in fondo, credo lo stia solo usando e spingendo in una situazione suicida. E dopo i primi tentennamenti, cede a lei... Mi chiedo quale sarà il suo destino...
I moschettieri si muovono e sono un perfetto gruppo come sempre e Athos è fantastico, maturo e saggio capo della spedizione che egregiamente tratta il 'caso' Aramis...
Ora chissà, Maschera di ferro è recuperato. Ma con l'inganno dopo tutto. Capiranno i moschettieri di essere parte di un piano ordito da Milady? Come ne usciranno? Alla prossima mia cara!

Hola! aqui estamos otra vez ^____^, usted me quiere matar de un susto, con ese titulo deberia poner una advertencia, pensando que Rocheford se salio con la suya.

Ahora que planea Milady, le pide a Oliver que se entrege a los mosqueteros, en que sucia trampa los esta metiendo, para los cuatro mosqueteros lo mejor es seguir con su mision, encontrar a la mascara de hierro, cuando quieran regresar veran que hacer, en que piensa Aramis?, al cuestionar a Athos sobre su condicion de mujer, perfecto ya estan cuestionando la veracidad de la fuente de informacion, estan raro que piensan que el rey tambien lo cree, un joven se les informa donde encontrar a Oliver, estan desconcertados y ya se estaban retirando cuando el solito se entraga, y ahora que va a pasar, los verdaderos problemas comienzan ahora, tienen que regresar con su prisionero sin ser capturados, esto se complica, lo bueno es que Athos empieza a tener sentimientos por Aramis, estare esperando el capitulo nuevo, gracias por compartir ^____^.

Ciao, scusa il ritardo ma sono stata un pò incasinata ultimamente e ho poco tempo per leggere.
Ho letto di filato gli ultimi due capitoli e gli intrighi che hai saputo disegnare sono davvero fantastici. Insomma, è un bel casotto XD Milady libera, Maschera di ferro vivo, Richelieu che sa il segreto di Aramis e lo sfrutta a suo piacimento... In tutto ciò per fortuna ci sono loro, i moschettieri. Veri amici, un grande ed imbattibile gruppo che non si sfalda nemmeno nelle tempeste. In loro Aramis può trovare un porto sicuro, chi la sosterrà sempre e la proteggerà contro tutto e tutti... E chissà che non ritrovi anche l'amore... :)

And another astonishing chapter of this fic... and some things get clearer..just some things... But all I can say is: UAU!! They knew!!! All those years, Athos and Porthos knew... but accepted her without saying one word, accepted her as a friend, as a comrade... and they'll defend her at all cost, no matter what!!
And this answers in part my question of chapter 4 to Treville's reaction/no-reaction: he knew that her friends would protect her, because they all know the truth!!

And I very much liked the way you described Aramis feelings, she is so confused and doesn't know what to think anymore... how to act, what to do...she's not sure she is Aramis or Renee...she's afraid, she's unsure, she has some feelings in her she suddenly feels emerging as she's close to Athos... and asking her friends if they think she's guilty of "sorcery", that she has in any way "bewitched" them, or may be a danger for them, as she's a woman...And all they say is they'll never ever let anyone touch her!!! Bravo!!!!! And Athos who has to stay cool, and assures her they will go and fulfil their mission in Holland, capture the Iron Mask, and after that they'll see what happens... She asks him if he thinks she's guilty of adultery...and he says if were her husband he'd have his doubts about that, as she lived under men for six years, so that i the argument her husband is using against her, to accuse her...but he knows her, and knows she's honourable and innocent of this accusation! But then he feels something, thinks she wil kiss him next as she leaned onto his shoulder... and "si discosto’ leggermente dalla ragazza." - this means he moved away from her, looking at her embarassed/with doubts?? Because she asks him next something to whixh he tels her to go back to sleep... leaving her with even more doubts... poor Aramis...

But I need to ask some things I didn't understand: she was an orphan as a young woman, ten years ago, met François, they got engaged, he was murdered, and then she was forced into marrying another man, but AFTER the marriage she ran away?? So they married, but she ran away just after, never "consumating" the union, but oficcially she's a married woman? Or she ran away BEFORE they married??

The second doubt is: the two letters Richilieu got in chapter 4; one was from the Inquisition, so the second letter is from the "husband" of Renee, accusing her of multiple adultery for over six years now??

Ok, to finish, I have to admit I liked the way you put Rochefort in scene, he has nothing personal against Aramis, he thinks her friends don't know anything of the accusations, and he even "asks" her with his look for permission to arrest her... to which she totally freezes... So, he was merely following Richilieu's orders here, but still not very willingly this time... I give him that credit, and you put him well in scene here!!

Sorry for this overlong recension, next time I'll promise I'll keep it shorter...

Anteprima: grazie ad un buonissimo suggerimento di degen_aramis, la fic avra’ due versioni degli ultimi capitoli! Quindi dopo l’epilogo “riscrivero’” alcuni capitoli finali per riadattarli ad una versione ispirata ad una sua idea (neat!)

It is I who have to thank you if one of my modest ideas has helped to have such an input...^__^ And thank you for posting this fic, it continues to be breathtaking... now the intrigue is really on the way... Pizarro managed to tell the King that Iron Mask is in Holland...and the king didn't even bother to remember his name, to tell it to Treville...it would have been THE most important detail for the four friends... especially ARamis, who'd immediately know it could be a trap...
But well, the King was in his bedroom, about to go to sleep, and as the messenger said he worked for Maria de Medecis, with whom he has no cntact at all... remembering the name is of no importance...LOL...

And then the duel for Charmaine... such a funny idea of Aramis... and poor d'artagnan that gets trapped by Charmaine, who is convinced he also likes her... and Constance who sees them... but I loved how you turned the moment around: he proposes to her, and gives her a ring of cord... So lovely!!!
And I did read correct, there is a misterious man in black outside the tavern where the four friends are together... and they see him, but don't pay attention... and this same man later appears again, just when they leave the barracks and Paris... Now who was this "man in black"??? It's no coincidence, that's for sure!!!

And then Richilieu who receives the two sealed letters... please correct me, one has the seal of the Inquisition, and the second one has a seal of a nobleman/ noble family that Richilieu has seen in the past, but doesn't remember where from???
And Treville admits having known about the contents/accusation of the first letter, the one of the Inquisition (so that Aramis is a woman), but he says he knows nothing about the contents of the second letter?? I didn't understand well what it means: "Si. Ero a conoscenza di una di queste accuse. Non credo che le accuse del primo mandato siano fondate, non posso conoscere la natura del secondo...” or are it only two accusations in one same letter??
"Stregheria et adulterio", as you wrote in chapter 5...
But why did Treville react so peacefully?? Is he up to something??? He just allows Richilieu to proceed??? I'm sure the captain has his reasons for acting like this...of course he has some hidden "ace" in his sleeve... chapter 5 explains in part why...LOL...but only in part...
