Un caffè dolce-amaro

“Tornerà”, il mormorio sconnesso di Zayn fece sollevare di scatto la testa di Harry. Era distrutto dalle lacrime e dal dolore, eppure si permise un sorriso. Risentire la voce di Zayn dopo tutti quei mesi passati nel silenzio gli fece battere il cuore di speranza. Forse non lo aveva perduto, forse poteva ancora salvarlo. “Zayn, oh Dio, Zayn!” lo guardò con gli occhi verdi lucidi e luminosi per averlo sentito mugolare una parola. “Ti amo così tanto” gli mormorò prima di baciarlo sulla fronte e abbraccialo stretto, ingabbiandolo contro il suo torace ampio e possente. “Me lo ha promesso” sillabò ancora, la voce impastata dalla stanchezza. Harry si staccò per poi vederlo osservare nuovamente i binari con sguardo vacuo. Scoppiò ancora in lacrime consapevole che no, il suo piccolo Zayn non sarebbe tornato mai più.
